In August 1991, Ukraine proclaimed its independence at the demise of the Soviet Union. During the past twenty years, all Pentecostal and charismatic churches have seen tremendous growth.
The Church of God began in the mid-1990s with congregations in the eastern city of Slavyansk and the southern town of Nova Kakhovka. Today, we have 86 congregations under the leadership of Overseer Alexei Demidovich.
